About Me

I am a Certified Instructor in Stott Pilates. I was first introduced to Pilates in 2011 while in Physical Therapy for back pain. At that time, an orthopedic doctor diagnosed me with a weak core and prescribed Physical Therapy specifically for Pilates. While in PT, I fell in love with Pilates, both the Reformer and mat-based exercises. The exercises relieved my back pain and made me stronger and more flexible. I felt great! Shortly thereafter, I bought my own Pilates Reformer and enrolled in courses to learn how to teach Pilates. I’m currently certified in the Mat and Reformer based exercises, and I’m trained in the Chair and Barrels. My goal is to bring Pilates to as many people as I can and provide education and instruction to improve strength, flexibility, stability, mobility, balance, and posture while keeping you free from injury. I live in Atlanta, GA, and I am married with a teenage son. I enjoy walking my miniature Golden Doodle, playing tennis, watching my son play travel baseball, and traveling.

My Mission

Help others improve strength, flexibility, balance, and posture with Pilates.

Problem:

  1. As we age, we lose core strength, which causes glute, hip, and back pain.
  2. We also begin to see a loss in our height and look to improve our posture and spine health.
  3. We lose bone density and need to become stronger and more flexible, including our weight-bearing muscles and joints to prevent injury and falls.
  4. Seniors need to stay fit and functional for life.

My Story

Pilates changed my life, and I want it to change yours too. My journey started in 2011 when I was diagnosed with a weak core and began physical therapy for back pain. That’s when I was introduced to Pilates, and the results were incredible—not only did it alleviate my pain, but it also transformed my strength, flexibility, and overall well-being.

Inspired by this experience, I became a certified Stott Pilates instructor. I now specialize in mat and reformer-based exercises, as well as chair and barrel techniques. My goal is to share the same strength and freedom Pilates gave me with others looking to feel healthier, stronger, and more confident.
